Oshkosh – Outlet Shopping and More

Oshkosh is an outstanding shopping destination, offering both big-name brands as well as small shops and galleries offering art and unique gifts. No matter who you’re shopping for, you’ll find something for them in Oshkosh.

The Outlet Shoppes at Oshkosh brings together more than 40 of world’s biggest brands. Looking for apparel? Shop for Nike, Gap, Polo Ralph Lauren, Old Navy, Brooks Brothers, Levi’s, Lands’ End, Christopher and Banks, Eddie Bauer, Jockey, Maurices, Bass, Aeropostale, Van Heusen, Tommy Hilfiger and more. For kids, there’s American Girl, Carter’s Childrenwear, Gymboree, Justice, Oshkosh B’Gosh and the Children’s Place Outlet. There’s also a Bath & Body Works Outlet, Corningware Correlle & More, Le Gourmet Chef, Kitchen Collection, Coach Factory Outlet, Nine West, Kay Jewelers and Skechers. That’s just some of what you’ll find at this huge outdoor mall.

But, Oshkosh offers more than just outlet shopping. Head to downtown Oshkosh for truly unique gifts. You’ll find women’s apparel, candy and three excellent jewelers. Shopping at the Regal Find in Middleton

Middleton – Stylish Greenway Station Shops and Restaurants

Take a ten minute drive from the bustling streets of Madison and you’ll find yourself in the peaceful community of Middleton. This friendly city is a shopper’s paradise. Middleton’s Greenway Station combines 35 national retailers and locally owned shops in an outdoor mall full of landscaped walkways. The complex also includes a number of great restaurants. On top of that, several hotels are located at Greenway Station or within walking distance. If you’re looking for a shopping getaway where you don’t have to spend the day driving and parking, Greenway Station awaits your arrival.

Middleton’s downtown is a mix of historic storefronts and new structures built to complement the older architecture. Shoppers will find a number of one-of-a-kind shops, including Happy Pastime, home of Wisconsin’s largest display of Hummel figurines. At downtown Middleton’s National Mustard Museum, you can buy hundreds of different types of mustards as well as fun, mustard-themed gifts.

You’ll also find shops and galleries throughout Middleton. The Bruce Company is the area’s largest year-round garden center—and their indoor collection of Christmas items is hard to beat. Stevens Point – Classic Main Street Shopping

Stevens Point has one of the healthiest Main Streets in Wisconsin. You’ll find shops galore along this charming street. Murals depicting the history of the community adorn the walls. It’s a wonderful place to do your holiday shopping.

Stevens Point Main Street shops include Gepetto’s Workshop, where you’ll find classic toys built to last. Call it New/Call It Antique has two floors of antiques from 60 different dealers. Clay Corner Studio gives you a chance to create a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece for the one you love. Q Gallery Artists’ Cooperative displays incredible works of painting, drawing, photography, jewelry and more. There are dozens of great shops on Main Street and throughout downtown Stevens Point.  Just a few blocks from Main Street, Sugar Doll offers gourmet chocolates and variety of delightful gifts.

If you have any beer lovers on your holiday shopping list, try the Stevens Point Brewery’s Gift Shop. While you’re there, take a tour (and while you’re at it, visit Stevens Point’s other three breweries).

For the crafters on your shopping list, Herrschners Factory Outlet Store is where you need to go. Herrschners is one of the world’s largest mail-order craft catalogs. They offer needlework, designer quilt fabric, craft kits and more, all at excellent prices.

Shopping in Onalaska

Onalaska – Largest Shopping District in a Nine-county Region

Onalaska is located on the Mississippi River and is the retail hub for a nine-county region. Onalaska draws shoppers from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. What makes Onalaska such a popular place to shop? The community is conveniently located along I-90 and offers a wide selection of stores, restaurants and hotels.

The central feature of Onalaska’s main retail district is Valley View Mall. The mall is home to more than 80 specialty shops and four major department stores: Macy’s, Sears, Herberger’s and JCPenney. Nearly all the biggest brands are represented at Valley View Mall.

On top of the great shopping, Onalaska is home to more than 40 restaurants. Nearby La Crosse is home to a children’s museum. And, Onalaska sits at the midway point of the 250-mile Wisconsin Great River Road, making it the perfect jumping off point for driving tours up or down the Mississippi River.

Once winter sets in, bald eagles begin gathering around the areas of open water on the Mississippi River in Onalaska. Eagles can be seen throughout the winter. Take a break from shopping and see if you can spot one of these majestic birds.
