Find a fish fry hotspot

The supper club is unique to the Midwest. Generally located out in the country, these dining establishments are designed so that guests can come early, have a few drinks and then enjoy a leisurely dinner. In some places, supper clubs offer entertainment; in Wisconsin, they generally do not. Here in the Badger State, it’s basically about the food and the drinks. They are ideal places to find a great Friday fish fry. These two supper clubs are among the state’s very best.

Hodag Country Cuisine

Rhinelander’s Fireside Supper Club overlooks Town Line Lake and offers a warm and friendly supper club experience. The menu includes all the classics, from the Friday night fish fry to prime rib. You’ll also find interesting entrees such as frog legs and Alaskan king crab legs, and old-fashioned favorites like roast duck and beef liver. The food here is really top notch.

A new Stevens Point classic

The Old 10 Bistro is becoming a new favorite stop on the Stevens Point dining circuit. Friendly and full of personality with a menu that offers some modern twists, the restaurant sits amid a park-like setting of gardens and ponds. On Friday nights the bistro serves an outstanding classic fish fry. The menu includes deliciously reinvented dishes like curried sauteed salmon. If you like a bit of classic and a bit of new, you’re going to love this place.
