Three events worth the road trip
Beautiful fall colors are not the only reason to hit the road this season. Across Wisconsin, festive events are as plentiful as golden leaves. They are a great chance to discover Wisconsin’s unique communities while taking in great food, live music and fall beauty. From races to craft fairs, there’s something happening every weekend. Here are three upcoming events that are perfect for a fall road trip.
Colorama Arts & Crafts Fair
On Sept. 16, top regional crafters will be on hand in beautiful Boulder Junction. They’ll be selling everything from paintings to wood crafts – it’s the perfect place to find a gift or a unique item for your home. Come hungry – the event will include a farmers’ market and wild game sandwiches will be for sale. See details.
Break out the lederhosen! Head to the historic Stevens Point Brewery on Oct. 16 for Pointoberfest, an annual celebration of great beer, German food, and live music. You’ll find samples of all Point craft beers and Ciderboys hard ciders and a souvenir mug. Learn more.
